#LLPH #House Key Votes: “YES” on #CutSpending & #Liberty Amendments in #THUD Appropriations FY2015! #TCOT

LLPH urges a YES vote on the following amendments to the Transportation and Housing and Urban Development Appropriations FY 2015. We may include any and/or all of these amendments in our 2014 Congressional Scorecard. 5 of these amendments are strong spending cut amendments and one of them is a huge pro-liberty amendment. 

Gohmert (R-TX) – Page 85, Line 3 – ​Reduces the Public Housing Capital Fund and the Public Housing Operating Fund by $24.7 million collectively, transfers the same amount to the Spending Reduction Account. 

Broun (R-GA) – Page 94, Line 18 – Reduces funding for the Community Development Block Grants by $20 million, transfers the savings to the Spending Reduction Account. 

Broun (R-GA) – Page 106, Line 23 – Reduces Rental Housing Assistance by $7 million, transfers the savings to the Spending Reduction Account. 

Broun (R-GA) – Page 141, Line 23 – Reduces funding for the Amtrak Office of the Inspector General by $1 million, transfers the savings to the Spending Reduction Account.

Hartzler (R-MO) – Prohibits funds from being used for highway beautification projects through the Federal Highway Administration Transportation Alternatives Program. 

Fleming (R-LA) – Prohibits funds from being used to acquire a camera used for collecting or storing vehicle license plate numbers.
