With the recent wins of Curt Clawson in Florida’s 19th, Rep. Walter Jones beating back a challenge from a Bush aide, and last week’s huge victories for Alex Mooney in West Virginia’s 2nd and Ben Sasse for Nebraska Senator, we are heading to the busiest day where tons of primaries will be decided this Tuesday.
LLPH Top Primaries:
GA-SEN: Karen Handel led as the Georgian Secretary of State for voter ID laws and stood up to the abortion lobby when she served in the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She will take this same leadership to Washington D.C. as she fights to cut spending, decrease our debt ceiling, fights illegal immigration, and repeal Obamacare. She is running for the open seat left open by Senator Saxby Chambliss, who is retiring. She has been endorsed by RedState’s Erick Erickson, Governor Sarah Palin, SBA-List, Concerned Women for America, and many other conservatives. She will provide the sharp contrast against Democrat Michelle Nunn comes November.
KY-SEN: Matt Bevin, a conservative businessman, is taking on the establishment Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. McConnell is well-known for his desires to cut backroom deals such as the Fiscal Cliff deal, supporting debt ceiling increases through cloture votes, and at best being a seat warmer which is not what a leader does. Matt Bevin will fight for liberty in all cases, stop reckless debt ceiling increases and demand spending cuts, and make government less involved in our lives. If McConnell wins, he puts this safe Republican seat into play as Kentuckians want a new voice, while Matt Bevin gives a true Republican option to the voters. Matt Bevin has been endorsed by Madison Project, Freedomworks, RedState’s Erick Erickson, Mark Levin, and local Kentucky Tea Party groups. He has an uphill race but we need him to win this Tuesday and it is time for voters to vote for Matt Bevin in Kentucky.
AR-04: Tommy Moll is running to succeed Rep. Tom Cotton, who is running for the senate. Tommy Moll is a young and fresh voice who will stand for a full repeal of Obamacare and fight for individual liberty. Moll agrees with LLPH that the best government is the one that governs the least. He has been endorsed by Freedomworks, RedState’s Erick Erickson, and other conservatives. He is facing an establishment career politician Bruce Westerman, who has sympathies toward Obamacare Medicaid Expansion. We need a true fighter like Tommy Moll to be the next representative for this district.
GA-01: Dr. Bob Johnson is not a career politician. He’s a Savannah surgeon and a 26-year Army veteran. This is the type of man that we need. With Rep. Jack Kingston leaving this seat to run for senate, we have a unique opportunity to put the true conservative, Dr. Johnson in congress. Dr. Johnson will fight against Common Core, a true repeal of Obamacare, and will fight the government’s alphabet soup of oppressive agencies and departments. Dr. Johnson has been endorsed by LLPH Member Rep. Andy Harris, Madison Project, Freedomworks, Georgia Right to Life, and many others. He will make conservatives proud as a great addition to our Liberty Congress.
GA-10: Jody Hice is running to succeed LLPH Member Rep. Paul Broun. Replacing Rep. Broun is not easy since he has served the conservative movement so well these past years. But we are confident that a true Constitutional Conservative like Jody Hice will do us proud. Jody Hice opposes reckless debt ceiling increases, defend our civil liberties through opposing the Patriot Act and NSA encroachments, and will stand up to the establishment of both areas. He would be the true conservative successor to Rep. Broun while his opponents would move this seat to the left (opponent #1=tax raiser and opponent #2=debt ceiling increase supporter).
GA-11: State Senator Barry Loudermilk is a constitutional scholar and conservative who is running to succeed Rep. Phil Gingrey who is running for senate. He is the new kind of voice we need in Washington D.C. He has already promised to vote against the re-election of Speaker Boehner to the speakership and will join our Liberty Congress. He will buck the establishment and support less government and more freedom. His opponents are Former Rep. Bob Barr, who is a decent conservative but has problems like supporting Eric Holder and another of Loudermilk’s opponents has the endorsement of RINO Renee Ellmers. Loudermilk will be the true conservative as he appeared on the Glenn Beck Program and stated that he would align himself with Liberty Congress Members and Fellows like Reps. Louie Gohmert, Trey Gowdy (who has endorsed him), Tom Graves, and others. Madison Project, Freedomworks, Concerned Women for America, Restore Our Republic and conservative Former Rep. Jeff Landry, RedState’s Erick Erickson and many others have endorsed him.
GA-12: John Stone is running on the platform of standing up to the establishment and firing Speaker Boehner and the rest of the GOP leadership. Stone is a true tea party conservative who will provide the stark contrast needed against longtime Democrat incumbent John Barrow. Barrow has won in this Republican seat for many years because most Republicans who have challenged him show little contrast as Barrow hides behind his “moderate” votes. Stone will provide this contrast as he has called for true change in Washington D.C. Stone has been endorsed by LLPH Members Reps. Louie Gohmert and Paul Gosar.
ID-02: We cannot afford another two years of RINO Rep. Mike Simpson. Simpson has run around D.C. as Boehner’s ally, calling for more earmarks, being weak on Obamacare repeal, and supporting radical leftist groups like ACORN. We need a true conservative like Bryan Smith. Bryan Smith will fight for less spending, stop increasing our debt, individual civil liberties, and a full repeal of Obamacare. He’ll stand up to Boehner and Company and be a true Idaho representative. He has been endorsed by Club for Growth, Freedomworks, Madison Project, RedState’s Erick Erickson, Young Americans for Liberty PAC, local Idaho state legislators, and so many other conservatives.
