This Tuesday continues our long march to freedom in 2014. Last week, LLPH scored a major victory with the win of Rep. Walter Jones in North Carolina’s 3rd District and helping Mark Walker move on into a run-off in NC 6th District. We did face some losses in North Carolina Senate race and in some challenges to RINO incumbents. This upcoming Tuesday, there are primaries occurring in Nebraska and West Virginia.
TWO EPIC RACES TO WATCH: TEA PARTY VS. ESTABLISHMENT
NE-SEN: LLPH-Endorsed Ben Sasse will face-off against two establishment candidates, Shane Osborn and Sid Dinsdale to succeed retiring Senator Mike Johanns. Shane Osborn has been picked as RINO Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham’s favorite candidate. That should be all you need to know about Osborn. Dinsdale has called for debt ceiling increases and said that he would just “put aside” the pro-life issue. Ben Sasse is the only true conservative in this race. Endorsed by LLPH Member Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT), former Nebraska Governor Kay Orr, Governor Sarah Palin, Nebraska Rep. Jeff Fortenberry, Freedomworks, Club for Growth, Madison Project, Citizens United PVF, Senate Conservatives Fund, Mark Levin, RedState’s Erick Erickson and countless other conservative leaders and groups, we know that we can count on Ben Sasse. He has actually read Obamacare, and he will fight tooth and nail to get rid of it. He already penned an op-ed with Senator Mike Lee on his plan on how to get rid of Obamacare. Ben Sasse is the true conservative in this race, and his is one to watch on Tuesday.
WV-02: The second epic race to watch is in West Virginia 2nd District as LLPH-Endorsed Alex Mooney will be facing a crowded primary with a bunch of establishment types to succeed Rep. Shelley Moore-Capito who is running for the United States Senate seat in West Virginia. Alex Mooney is a true constitutional conservative who fought the establishment leadership when he served in the state legislature in Maryland. He moved to West Virginia with his family but his values have remained consistently pro-freedom and pro-Constitution. He will fight President Obama’s War on Coal, oppose illegal immigration, stand up for life, and fight the establishment in Washington D.C. He has been endorsed by countless number of conservative leaders and groups and would be a strong addition to our freedom team in congress.
