This week, the House will take up consideration of the Department of Defense Appropriations FY 2014. The big battle to watch is whether the Rule Committee will let the House vote on amendments by Rep. Amash defunding the NSA, Rep. Massie/Radel to prevent funding for Syria/Egypt. Lots of amendments and debate, I’ll update this post throughout the week.
The Senate is expected to take up consideration of the Department of Transportation/Housing and Urban Development Appropriations FY 2014. Amendments may occur. Their bill spends $55 billion compared to $44 billion in the House bill. Obviously, I and conservatives like me should absolutely oppose the Senate bill.
Tomorrow, the House will take under suspension of the rules, H.R. 1300. This bill would renew programs created under the Fish and Wildlife Act of 1956. These programs are predicted to cost $6 million. You can read my post on my blog below:
Stay tune for more updates…EXCITING week ahead!
